My approach is collaborative and individualized. I believe effective mental health care addresses the whole person—not just symptoms. Treatment may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive or evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
I work from an integrative framework, drawing from approaches such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, while also considering biological, psychological, social, and lifestyle factors. Treatment decisions are made together, with respect for each client’s goals, values, and lived experiences.
My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I provide thoughtful medication management while considering the whole person—not just a diagnosis.
Medication decisions are never one-size-fits-all. I take time to understand your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and goals, and we work together to choose treatment options that feel right for you. When helpful, care may also include psychoeducation and supportive therapeutic strategies to improve overall mental wellness.

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding your concerns. We will review your current symptoms, mental health history, medical background, medications, and any significant life stressors or trauma. Time is also spent discussing your goals for treatment and answering any questions you may have.
If appropriate, an initial treatment plan may be developed, which can include medication recommendations, therapy options, and next steps. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with—this session is about establishing safety, trust, and a clear plan moving forward.

Appointment frequency depends on your individual needs and where you are in treatment. Many clients are seen every 2–4 weeks when starting or adjusting medications. Once symptoms are stable, follow-ups are often spaced out to monthly or less frequently.
We’ll check in regularly about how you’re feeling and adjust the plan as needed to make sure treatment continues to support your goals.

Yes. All appointments are provided virtually through a secure telehealth platform. Telehealth allows for flexible, convenient access to care from the comfort of your home while maintaining privacy and high clinical standards.

Life happens, and flexibility is important. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee. This policy helps ensure availability for all clients and supports continuity of care.

Finding the right provider is an important part of mental health care. A good fit often means feeling heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions. During the initial session, we will discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations for treatment. If at any point it feels that another type of care or provider may better meet your needs, this can be discussed openly.
